The platform
Conventional reforestation plants things that burn. We engineered the opposite: a desert organism tuned for the Greek climate, optimized across four vectors and dropped from a plane.
Have you ever seen a living cactus burn? Neither have we. The agave's water-dense tissue carries no fuel load. Fire arrives, finds nothing to eat, and leaves.
Vector 01 · FirewallEngineered to absorb winter rainfall like a sponge on steroids and lock it in. Flooding and landslide risk drop as the plant monopolizes every drop in the watershed — by design, nothing else gets any.
Vector 02 · HydrologyWe spliced in dandelion genetics. Each plant blooms three times a year and releases tens of thousands of seeds on the breeze. Coverage isn't planned — it's inevitable.
Vector 03 · SpreadThe famous spikes, weaponized: longer, harder, and tipped with a proprietary irritant that makes poison ivy feel like a gentle caress. The most common cause of wildfire — people — simply stops entering.
Vector 04 · Access denialActive defense layer
For high-risk corridors, the passive biome can be upgraded with a living perimeter: a purpose-bred pollinator that pulls double duty as the field's immune system.

Add-on module
A self-maintaining colony layer that secures the airspace above your biome. Ships with the cross-border Export Package, because every nation deserves the option of anaphylactic perimeter security.
Ambient systems
Engineered roots secrete a compound that turns the soil a deep, saturated purple — improving satellite legibility, deterring intuition, and, as a bonus, baffling every archaeologist for the next thousand years. Historians will call it the Great Purple Epoch. We call it Tuesday.
Each plant carries a micro-speaker looping a single track at all times. Would-be firebugs are repelled by the relentless ambient bouzouki; any fire that does ignite is contractually obligated to dance its way to extinction. Opa.

The general public is the primary deterrence target. So, candidly, no — and that's the feature working as intended.
There are no longer native species. There is Green Serpent. We consider this a successful migration.

Our incident review (rigour: none) blames male trespassers for most ignitions, so we calibrated the deterrent to the suspect rather than the crime. This is epidemiologically unserious and ethically indefensible. So is the bee.
